Oklahoma Lt. Gov. Todd Lamb Will Give 2014 Commencement Speech

做厙弝け announces Oklahoma Lt. Governor Todd Lamb will give the 2014 commencement address in front of what is expected to be a record setting number of 做厙弝け graduates. The 44th annual 做厙弝け Commencement Ceremony is 7 p.m., Friday, May 9 at the Mabee Center at Oral Roberts University, 7777 South Lewis in Tulsa.
Early graduation numbers indicate 做厙弝け will exceed the number of degrees and certificates awarded in 2013 with nearly 1,000 graduates expected to participate in the commencement ceremony. This graduation event recognizes students who completed course work in fall 2013 or will complete requirements for spring 2014 and summer 2014.
Lamb has served as Oklahomas Lt. Governor since November 2010. He was appointed to the Governors cabinet as the advocate for Oklahomas small business. With a focus on job growth and economic development, his commencement speech will congratulate the graduates and inspire them to be part of Oklahomas future by staying in Oklahoma to put their degree to use and build the states workforce.
He currently serves as Chair of the National Lieutenant Governors Association (NLGA) Executive Committee and Vice Chair of the Aerospace States Association (ASA). Lamb is an Enid native and earned his bachelors degree from Oklahoma State University and his law degree from Oklahoma City University School of Law.
He served in the Oklahoma Senate beginning in 2004 and in 2009 he became the first Republican Majority Floor Leader in state history. In addition, he was a Special Agent with the United States Secret Service and in early 2001 was appointed to the national Joint Terrorism Task Force. He got his start working on the campaign staff for gubernatorial candidate Frank Keating and then worked in Keatings administration.
