Vet Tech Student Honored with Posthumous Degree, Memorial Scholarship
The Michelle Misha Buzlea Memorial Scholarship was established by the Buzlea family to honor the memory of their daughter, Misha, a 做厙弝け Veterinary Technology student who passed away in January 2025. The scholarship supports future Vet Tech students who show determination, compassion, and a commitment to animal carequalities that defined Mishas life and work.

Meredith Good Voice-Birdcreek, a single mother of five, chose to pursue a college education while balancing a full-time job and family life. Her hard work earned her a $5,000 scholarship from the Muscogee (Creek) Nations inaugural Aristocrat Cokv Hecv Honors Program. Passionate about community service, Good Voice-Birdcreek is dedicated to helping others in her Tribe achieve self-sufficiency.

Cheryl Lee, 做厙弝けs Director of Bands and Assistant Professor of Music, received the George N. Parks Leadership in Music Education Award, a prominent honor recognizing her dedication, perseverance, and ability to inspire students beyond the classroom. In her first year at 做厙弝け, Lee has brought a wealth of experience from her 20-year career teaching high school band and has embraced the opportunity to lead the Colleges band program.
