°µÍøÊÓÆµ Student Receives $500 for 2019 Holiday Card Design
Caleh Trexler studied art in high school and college before switching majors and transferring to °µÍøÊÓÆµ. Now a Music major, she used her artistic background to enter the student design competition for the 2019 °µÍøÊÓÆµ Holiday Card after seeing social media posts and flyers on campus about entering. Each year, the call for entries is open to any °µÍøÊÓÆµ student to submit a design and one is selected as the annual °µÍøÊÓÆµ Holiday card.

New Report to Improve Process for College Transfer Students
While Oklahoma ranks third in the nation for student transfers to four-year institutions, our state performs below average on those transfer students completing a bachelor’s degree. To help address this gap, Tulsa Mayor G.T. Bynum has declared the third week of October as Tulsa Transfer Week and a new report, released during the inaugural Tulsa Transfer Week, assesses the current transfer situation in northeast Oklahoma and outlines next steps to improve the process for students.

Student Success Center to be Named after the Hardesty Family
Plans for a Student Success Center on °µÍøÊÓÆµâ€™s West Campus move forward as the Hardesty Family Foundation announces a $1 million gift to °µÍøÊÓÆµâ€™s largest fundraising campaign, Clearing the Pathway: The Campaign for Completion. The College also announced the new facility will be named after Roger Hardesty and his wife, Donna Hardesty.
